Brewery Karel IV.
“I saw you thirsty, so I came back.”
The Becherplatz restaurant includes the small Karel IV Brewery, which continues the tradition of brewing beer in Karlovy Vary. This tradition began in 1370, when King and Roman Emperor Charles IV granted the city the title of royal city with the privilege of brewing beer. This tradition was interrupted for 13 long years after the brewery of the same name ceased production in 1999 at the plant on Sokolovská Street in Rybáře.
In the bowels of Becherplatz, the Karel IV beer has risen again and you can enjoy the traditional drink directly in the restaurant, where you will be offered everything that is associated with Karel IV beer.
