Brewery Karel IV.
I SAW YOU THIRSTY SO I CAME BACK!
Part of the Becherplatz restaurant is the Karel IV Brewery, which continues the tradition of brewing beer in Karlovy Vary. Beer brewing in Karlovy Vary began in 1370, when King and Roman Emperor Charles IV. granted the city the title of royal city with the privilege of brewing beer. This tradition was interrupted for 13 long years after the brewery of the same name stopped production in 1999 at the plant on Sokolovská street in Rybářy.
In 2012, Karlovy Vary beer Karel IV was once again brewed in the cellars of Becherplatz thanks to the new owner Karl Holoubek. and you can enjoy this traditional mok directly in the restaurant.
